It is a good farther plant,its offsprings all have more fine quality.For example,Engineer-Huang’s farther plant is Victory.And now almost all high quality chinese clivias have good genes of Engineer-Huang,i.e,have good genes from Victory.
2.Ranchang
Another old Chinese type of forepart.
Leaf’s size:L40~50cm,W8~9cm,T2~3mm..
Leaves: arched,not bright, dark green, lengthwaysly crinkled, unorderly non-protuberant veins, bonny shaped
Flower color:red or orange colored, thunder-and-lightning, flower size (6.5~7.5cm)
Berry:flat and round
It is a good type of Chinese clivia of forepart
3.Monk
This type named as “monk”,but originally,it is not cultivated by a Chinese monk.Its factual breeder’s name is Heting.Wu.But later ,it does turns better under breeding by a monk named PuMing,and welcomed by enthusiasts from then on.So,we named it “Monk”now.

these types are all hybrids among or between those types which I introduced above.
It should be mentioned that the very best Chinese clivias are always very rare ,so they are so expensive.
